What we do
We, at Udyam Prayas, do the following:
- Supplement school learning by conducting regular lessons on English, Maths and Science; other subjects are taught on an individualized basis.
- Educate beyond school curriculum-focus on health, social issues and future employment opportunities.
- Encourage extra – curricular activities including craft and rangoli making, sports competitions, outdoor picnics, movie screenings etc.
- Make regular visits to the families of these children to understand their family’s needs and involve their parents in the child’s future growth.
Udyam is helping these children to dare to dream, to realize their aspirations and potential of becoming teachers, lawyers, police officers, doctors, engineers…
