OUR APPROACH
Udyam provides academic assistance to school going children during after-school hours and engages with them in extra curricular activities. There are broadly three sets of activities undertaken at Udyam to meet the objective of “holistic development” of students:
Remedial classes for all subjects are held six days a week. Formal school curriculum of CBSE is used as reference. Students also get personal assistance from teachers and regular assignments after classes. Their progress is tracked regularly by class participation sessions and periodic tests. The focus of our teaching is to help students build strong concepts and cope up with what is being taught in the formal school.
Students are engaged in multiple non-academic activities with the idea of imparting value education, facilitating personality development and having fun (to keep them interested).
Udyam believes that a rounded development of a child can not happen without the willingness of the parents. We hold regular meetings with parents of children to understand and find solutions to any issues that the child may be facing at home. We also keep the parents updated about the progress of the child and reiterate the importance of education in meeting with them. |
